PHARMACIST MEETS NUTRITIONIST
Growing up, I was fascinated by Biochemistry, the way chemical reactions occur within organisms, which led me to study for a PhD in Pharmacy at the Faculty of Paris V.
While working at pharmaceutical research labs, I felt the need to be more directly involved with helping patients. I quit the big pharma job and joined a local Parisian pharmacy as Lead Pharmacist.
For over 15 years, I’d advise patients on a wide-range of health issues and chronic illnesses; preparing drugs and providing them with my personalised advice to improve their everyday care.
Although I greatly enjoyed my work, I could also see its limitations: we would be treating individual symptoms, not looking at the global picture nor working on preventing illnesses.
So I began intensively researching the effectiveness of alternative natural remedies such as homeopathy, herbal medicine, aromatherapy and nutrition.
The science-based evidence on the impact of food was overwhelming and I quickly became a passionate advocate of the field, studying nutrition and micro-nutrition at the Dijon Medicine Faculty.
Today, I combine my pharmaceutical and biochemical background with my nutritional expertise to help women and men reach their full health potential.
From London where I live with my husband and our children, I continue to guide and educate people on how to lead happier, healthier lives.
